Commercial Truck Air Leak & Air System Roadside Repair
Updated: 9 hours ago
When a commercial truck is not building or holding air
An air-system problem can stop a tractor or trailer even when the engine runs normally. Mobile Truck Trailer Tire Roadside Repair diagnoses commercial air-system failures on site when practical, including trucks that are slow to build air, will not maintain pressure, or develop an audible leak after parking.
Our roadside work is focused on commercial trucks and trailers rather than towing. The goal is to identify the failed component or damaged line and determine whether the truck can be safely repaired where it sits.
Air-system problems we diagnose and repair
Common calls include leaking or damaged airlines, air bags, leveling valves, quick-release valves, relay valves, spring-brake valves, brake chambers and tractor-protection related problems. We also inspect fittings, lines and nearby components so the repair addresses the actual source of pressure loss instead of only the loudest symptom.
If a truck is not building air, diagnosis can also involve separating an external leak from a charging-system problem. That distinction matters because replacing an air line will not solve a compressor, governor or related pressure-building issue.
