DPF and DEF Roadside Diagnostics

Aftertreatment warnings and derates can stop a revenue truck even when the engine is mechanically sound. We diagnose the fault condition before deciding whether a forced regeneration or another repair is appropriate. Mobile Truck Trailer Tire Roadside Repair provides on-site commercial repair and does not provide towing. Arrival time varies by location, traffic, weather, safety conditions and workload.

Forced Regen When Appropriate

A forced regen can help when soot loading and system conditions call for regeneration, but it is not a cure for every DPF, DEF, SCR or sensor fault. We use the fault information and vehicle condition to determine the next step.

DEF System Problems

DEF-related faults can involve supply, dosing, sensors, wiring, quality/level readings and other components. The goal is to identify the actual cause of the warning or derate rather than clearing codes and hoping they stay away.

DPF and Aftertreatment Faults

DPF restriction, pressure/temperature sensor faults, regeneration failures and related aftertreatment issues require diagnosis before replacement decisions.

Related Diesel Roadside Repairs

The same truck may also need battery/charging service, no-start diagnosis, alternator work, cooling-system repair or electrical troubleshooting, all of which are within our commercial mobile scope when appropriate.
